Two quotes can use the same project name and describe very different work. Comparing the price makes sense only after the included deliverables and assumptions are clear.
Separate implementation from running costs
The implementation scope might include a responsive website, a form or an integration. Hosting, domains, email providers, model usage and paid extensions may have recurring costs. Ask who purchases these services and whether estimates depend on traffic or usage.
Specify content and integrations
List pages, supplied content, languages, data sources and access responsibilities. Identify integrations that require third-party approval. State what happens if required credentials or content are delayed.
Use reviewable milestones
Each milestone should produce something the business can inspect: an agreed design, a working local flow or a release candidate with acceptance checks. Agree the revision scope and how new requirements change the estimate and schedule.
Confirm the commercial details in writing
Specify currency, payment milestones, applicable fees, ownership, licences and post-launch support. Published ranges are planning context; the written quote governs the engagement. See current indicative pricing or request a scoped proposal.
