Project Overview

An anonymized client e-commerce project with product variants, cart, checkout interface, order tracking and an administration dashboard. Built for a private client. This portfolio version uses different branding and sample data to protect the client’s identity. The original business name and domain are withheld at the client’s request.

The Challenge

Connect product discovery and purchase preparation with practical store operations, while making the portfolio demonstration safe to explore without exposing the client’s identity.

What Was Built

A product catalogue with oil and spice collections, image galleries, pack-size choices, quantity controls, pricing displays and product information tabs. Cart contents and totals can be inspected before reaching the checkout interface.

Shopping & Checkout Journey

Visitors can move from a product detail page to the cart and checkout. Adding a product and viewing the cart were tested. Shipping and contact fields, UPI, card and cash-on-delivery choices were observed. Payments are intentionally inactive in this demo; no order or transaction was submitted during review.

Orders, Inventory & Review Management

The public admin demo presents order search and status filters, fulfilment actions, variant-level stock inputs, low-stock alerts and review moderation controls. Dashboard and revenue views show sample order summaries. Update, shipping and moderation writes were not exercised during inspection.

Order Tracking

The tracking interface offers order ID and phone lookup, with sample-order shortcuts for demonstrating delivery states. Production delivery integration and customer verification were not independently tested.

Architecture & Demo Mode

The supplied README documents PHP and MySQL/MariaDB, with a database-unavailable fallback to a sample admin dataset. HTML, CSS and JavaScript provide the storefront; GSAP and SwiperJS are documented for interactions. This describes the documented project architecture, not a verified production hosting configuration.

Privacy & Evidence

The public preview uses the VedicOrganics demo name. Branding, founder imagery and business data are illustrative; the owner confirms the founder image is dummy. Displayed certifications, media references, testimonials and revenue are not used as evidence of the original client’s identity or business performance.

Verification & Boundaries

Confirmed: public storefront and product screens, add-to-cart interaction, cart display, checkout fields and accessible admin sections. Not independently verified: production database persistence, payment processing, full order fulfilment, security controls or measured business outcomes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is VedicOrganics the real client name?

No. It is the name used for this anonymized portfolio demonstration. The original client and domain are withheld at their request.

Can I make a real payment in the demo?

No. Payment methods are intentionally inactive. Explore the interface without entering real payment or personal details.

Are the dashboard figures real client results?

No. Orders, reviews, revenue and customer figures shown in the demo are sample data.

Can I explore the admin interface?

Yes. The public Admin Demo provides its own demo access instructions. It demonstrates the store management interface, not access to the original client system.
